Great news for the citizens of Norwalk!

Great news for the citizens of Norwalk! The City has awarded a project to have improvements made to Beardsley St from Park Place to approximately 2,000 ft east of the Hwy 28 intersection.  This is about halfway between Bryson Drive and Sayre Drive in the Holland Pointe Development.

We are also having a trail installed from Lexington Drive all the way to Elizabeth Holland Park.  This will connect Elizabeth Holland Park to the Great Western Trail to the west.

Please see the map enclosed in this post showing the work area for the street improvements. Major work is scheduled to start in March (weather permitting).  Utility relocations and some 'pre-work' have already occurred.

The project will significantly impact driving and walking patterns.  Work is being staged and there are several phases of work.  Travel patterns, including pedestrian, bicycle, and school traffic, will change as phases of the work progress. Some may be more disruptive than others.  Please be patient while these improvements are made. We will post more information as we get closer to the start of the work in March.
