Celebrate Earth Day & Arbor Day

Earth Day 2

Earth Day in the U.S. began in 1970 as 20 million Americans, from all walks of life, mobilized in an effort to change our environment. Today, Earth Day is celebrated by more than a billion people per year in 192 countries.

Arbor Day began 150 years ago, in 1872 and is similar to Earth Day because it celebrates nature. Arbor Day's specific purpose is to celebrate the planting, upkeep and preservation of trees.
Here in Norwalk we have scheduled clean up and tree planting projects for Friday, April 21 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We will help you plan ahead, and provide you opportunities to give back to make Norwalk a great place to live, work and play!

Celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22

Registration
This is a great way to build team culture, beautify the city and help better the environment in our community. Grab your "pod", "unit", "team" or sign-up alone. This is a first come- first served come as you are gig. And if you aren’t available during our events, feel free to head out into your neighborhood and pick up trash or plant a tree. You can still sign-up and then just share with us how much you did and where you cleaned to help Norwalk reach our goals of a cleaner City, better environment and healthier community.

Covid-19 Protocols
We ask that volunteers self-screen for symptoms before heading outdoors. Masks are optional. Tools and supplies are disinfected after each use. If you have any questions, please reach out to Dakota, we’ll be more than happy to help!
