STARBUCKS COFFEE ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION IN NORWALK
Norwalk, IA (Apr.20, 2023) –
Norwalk City Officials and Diligent Development are excited to announce the newest addition to the Norwalk Central development at the corner of HWY 28 and Gordon Avenue in the Hughes Century Crossing Retail District. Starbucks Coffee will be constructing a new 2,225 SF full-service facility including a drive-through, with construction beginning on April 24, 2023. An opening date will soon be announced, and progress updates will be posted regularly on the NorwalkCentral.com website.
“Starbucks is a long-awaited and highly desired entity in this community, so we are thrilled that it’s finally coming to fruition”, stated Hollie Zajicek, Norwalk’s Economic Development Director.
“This will be a phenomenal asset to the Norwalk Central development and the entire city with the planned increase in visitors and sports teams to the area”. Norwalk Mayor, Tom Phillips remarked.
Diligent Development’s Vice President Tim Portzen commented, “Diligent is extremely excited for Starbucks to join the list of businesses locating in Hughes Crossing at Norwalk Central. I think a national retailer like Starbucks choosing to invest in a stand-alone location further reiterates the momentum in the City of Norwalk. The timing also solidifies the excitement and draw that Hughes Crossing and the Sports Campus provides to the area.
