Utility Rates

The following rates are effective July 2022

Water rate usage charge: 
$7.91 for each 1,000 gallons used per month.

Water availability rate: 
$6.50  per month per household and or per unit. (applicable to all customers)

Sewer rate usage charge: 
$10.64 per 1,000 gallons used per month.

Sewer availability rate: 
$8.00 per month per household and or per unit. (applicable to all customers)

Residential Storm Water service charge: 
$7.50 per ESU - (equivalent service unit)

Commercial Storm Water service charge: 
The rate is based on the total square foot of impervious area at the location. 

Trash/Recycling:
$16.60 - 96 gallon tote
$15.90 - 48 gallon tote
$9.00  - each additional tote

Water Excise Tax:
 A 6% tax on water service to any fees that are integral to the furnishing of water by piped distribution system. 

Late Payment Penalty:
Bills not paid when due shall be considered delinquent.  A one-time late payment penalty of ten percent (10%) of the amount due shall be added to each delinquent bill. 

Water Rate:
Based on your monthly consumption as metered through your water meter.  The cost will fluctuate based on the consumption used.  Meters are read the 1st business day of each month.

Water Availability:
A flat fee base rate for each household having water service to the property.  This fee is billed each month regardless of consumption and is used to pay for maintenance to the city's system and capital improvement costs.

Sewer Rate:
Based on your monthly water consumption as metered through your water meter each month.  The cost will fluctuate based on consumption. Meters are read the 1st business day of each month.
