Dog Park

Dog Park - 907 North Avenue 

Norwalk's Dog Park is located inside of City Park.  The Dog Park has two fenced areas, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs.  There are water fountains available for hydrating your dogs as well.  Passes for the Dog Park are required and can be purchased at City Hall, 705 North Avenue, Norwalk, Iowa.  For cost information related to licensing of your dogs or passes to the Dog Park please call 515.981.0228.

City Park also includes playground equipment, basketball courts, restroom facilities, an old railroad car, restroom facilities and an open shelter house with picnic tables. Shelter reservation fees are $15.00 for four hours, $10.00 for each additional four hours. NO alcohol or tobacco are allowed in Norwalk city parks.  You can now reserve a shelter house online.  To check availability or to reserve a shelter house go to Online Shelter Reservations.
