What is GGLeagues?

GGLeagues is the premier recreational esports organization that empowers communities through gaming. We work with communities, universities and other organizations to help put together safe and fun leagues for everyone to play games.

How does GGLeagues work?

Whether you are competing in a league or a tournament, you will need to own the game, have access to the internet, and be excited to have a great time! You will receive a schedule with the days/times of each match, compete against local players, and create lasting friendships.

Games & leagues for everyone (Ages 8-12, 13-18, 18+)

We have a wide variety of games available that are approved by your local organization. All leagues will be split into age divisions and some leagues will have skill divisions split out.

Creating a secure space

Ensuring the safety of everyone competing at GGLeagues is extremely important to us. Our trained referees and league admins are always present during matches to keep everyone safe and games fair.

Getting setup

Our process is simple. You register for the event you would like to participate in. We have multi-week leagues and single day tournaments to choose from. Regardless of which option you choose, you will be invited to a kickoff session before the event and given a calendar of your match days and times.

Game Descriptions: Fortnite Fortnite 1v1 and 2v2

Eliminate other players using skills and weapons around the map until you are the last one standing. Rated T for Teens. Fortnite can be played on any current-day game console or PC. In Fortnite 1v1, players will play three games with their opponent as their duo partner in a duo battle royale. The player that gets the most kills over three games wins the series.  Players must keep track of both their kills and their opponent's kills for both games. Make sure you take screenshots of your kills at the end of the games in case of a dispute! At the end of these games, players will report the score via the GGLeagues match chat. The Ruleset for Fortnite will be e-mailed to participants after the registration deadline, or you may call the office to receive them beforehand.
