**City Park and the Dog Park will be closed July 22, 2019 starting at 12:00 pm and all day July 23, 2019 due to RAGBRAI!

**Elizabeth Holland Park is currently under construction.  We will announce when it is open to the public.

The City of Norwalk has a variety of parks for residents and visitors.  Our over 75 acres of parkland range in size from 1 acre to 40 acres.  Our parks offer a variety of activities such as but not limited to fishing, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, disc golf, skate park, playground equipment, and Iowa's first challenge course park.

The Norwalk city ordinance does not allow any alcohol or smoking in any of our city parks or sports complex.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Bike Trails
The City maintains several miles of linear bicycle/pedestrian trails. Trails are both on and off street. The most recent addition to our bike system is the trail going through 5-Acre park to the Lakewood Elementary School.

Park Shelter reservation information:
Park shelter houses may be reserved starting the first business day of the new year.  They are available any day of the week during the hours of 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
