Cost:  $49.00 resident / $56.00 non-resident

-- Our aquatic workout is performed in the cool and relaxing pool atmosphere.  Each class consists of a 60-minute aerobic workout that includes muscle toning for arms, stomach, hips, and legs along with flexibility and relaxation exercises.  This program stresses going at your own pace.  All exercises can be performed either high or low impact.  You decided how hard you want to work. Mary Jane Sharp is the instructor.

Parks and Recreation Seasonal Employment Application
Now Accepting Applications until positions are filled

  • Lifeguards - minimum age: 15 years, American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification required. Approximate employment dates: May 31 - August 30/ Pay range: $9.00 - $11.50/hour
  • Swim Instructors minimum age: 16 years, we strongly encourage and prefer American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification.  Approximate employment dates: June 1 - August 20/ Pay range: $10.00 - $11.50/hour
  • Pool Maintenance - minimum age: 14 years.  Approximate employment dates: May 15 - August 30/ Pay rate: $8.50/hour
  • Pool Concessions/Admissions  - minimum age: 15 years.  Approximate employment dates: May 31-August 30/ Pay rate: $8.50/hour

Pool Hours/Rates

Monday thru Friday: 1:00pm to 5:00pm & 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 1:00pm to 5:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Admission Rates:
(Children age 5 and under swim for free with paid adult admission)

Daily (afternoon and evening sessions): $ 4.00
Evenings only: $ 2.00

Pool Passes

Punch Card Passes: $25.68 (tax included) (get fourteen $2.00 punches)

Season Passes (Must be purchased at the Norwalk Parks and Recreation office): All household passes, individual and nanny passes are available. A household is defined as all immediate family members residing at the same street address. This includes children of divorced parents who have joint custody, stepchildren, and foster children. Baby-sitters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and ex-spouses are not considered immediate family members.  A non-resident is defined as anyone living outside the Norwalk city limits.

The price will drop beginning July 1.

* Household passes are good for the first 5 family members. Please add $11.24 ($12.93 for non-residents) for each additional family member. Remember that children age 5 and under swim for free, and should not be included on a season pass.
