NORTH AVE ASPHALT NOTIFICATION: The City has been notified that the second phase of asphalt paving will take place this Saturday, October 20, 2018 for the North Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The asphalt overlay preparatory work will most likely begin on Friday to clean and prepare the street for paving. The asphalt overlay work will begin on Saturday morning starting at approximately 7:00 AM from Center Street to Main Street and from Main Street to Lane Avenue. Access to this corridor on North Avenue will be very limited during paving operations. However, access will be maintained on Main Street across North Avenue. The work will be completed in two lifts (a leveling course and a final surface overlay). The contractor is anticipating completing all asphalt work in this area by late afternoon on Saturday. The Contractor will provide notices to local businesses and residents directly impacted by paving operations and will also be responsible for traffic control. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
