Sealed bids for the work comprising the improvements as stated in this document must be filed before 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2020 in the office of the City Council Chambers, Norwalk City Hall, 705 North Avenue, Norwalk, IA 50211.

The City of Norwalk reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City of Norwalk reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.


 Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on the improvements shall commence any time after a written Notice to Proceed is issued and shall be completed as stated below. The Notice to Proceed will be issued after the pre-construction conference, which is expected to occur in June 2020. The Contractor shall substantially complete the overall project by September 30, 2020.
