Dog Park Information
The City of Norwalk has identified land along the northern edge of City Park to be used as a much-needed dog park. A Norwalk Dog Park Committee has formed and is looking to raise $10,000 to raise money to add a fence, sidewalk up to the park, benches, trash cans, waste bag dispensers, and a water source for our furry family members. Once the dog park is built, the Parks and Rec will maintain. The regular park hours will stay in effect. If you have questions, specific suggestion, or concerns, you may contact the Norwalk Dog Park Committee by calling (515) 981-6610, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or visiting the group's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NorwalkDogPark
No cancellations at this time.
The Parks and Rec Commission meeting is Wednesday, Jun 1 @ 6:00 p.m., Norwalk City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
